It took quite a few iterations to figure out ring making. These were done on a manual lathe. The first is made of brass, and barely fit, and was quite uncomfortable. The second one was steel, that ended predictably, after a few days I took the ring off my finger to be met with rust. So the next logical progression was aluminum, taking all I’d learned I refined my technique and made a much smoother ring that was more comfortable, the right size, and best of all no rust.
