This topographic map displays the finger lakes, and general Ithaca area. It was produced the same way as the original. First I downloaded a height map of the region, then put that into blender and used color ramps to slice the map, finally it was vectorized. To that file I overlayed GIS street and location data, finally the whole thing was laser cut assembled, the water made blue, and a frame built for it. Note for the future, frames are deceptively hard to build.
