Optics are expensive. Too expensive.

As Optics & Photonics become increasingly important for technology and the workforce, so does its education.

However, programs are limited with few universities hosting dedicated programs and a nonexistent high school sector. Those who do– rely on the same expensive suite of products as researchers.

The goal of this project is to make optical mounts, devices, and organizers affordable for the average student when considered at the scale of a research project. While simultaneously approaching academic research standards.

Any of the aforementioned organizers are compatible with the Gridfinity system as developed by Zach Freedman.

This is a dual color holder for 8 ThorLabs KM100 Kinematic Mounts. I created this due to scratching of the mirrors during storage, this design prevents that.
