  • Thor’s Hammer

    Thor’s Hammer

The hammer was designed in SolidWorks, and printed on a laser cutter. It had a lot of parts so I used SolidWorks composer to create a exploded view assembly animation. The inside is a scaffold with the plates mounted to form the shape.

  • Planters (Large)

    Planters (Large)

A set of planters I made for my grandmother, in the end they were painted light blue, and sealed with polyurethane spray paint. The wood itself was CNC’d out, and the design was made in SolidWorks.

  • Fidget Toy

    Fidget Toy

I had just started learning the hand mill at the time in my Precision Machining class at Sarasota Technical College. I had seen online something like this, and went hmmm. So I ended up milling out a cube of aluminum into this shape, and the drilling the holes through the faces so they meet in…

  • Coasters

    Coasters

The design is laser cut wood base, a wooden ring, and a cork circle in the middle. The cork is engraved with any design you want. I oiled the wood.

  • Hex Box

    Hex Box

This is a jewelry box I made as a gift for my stepmother. Where the inlay is oiled lightly and the outer is darkly oiled. The inside has a hexagonal lattice shape which forms the inner structure for the outside to bond to. All of this was produced via a laser cutter.

  • Foraminifera Wall Hanging

    Foraminifera Wall Hanging

Foraminifera are fossilized zooplankton and phytoplankton, aka tiny shells. My mom studied them for her PhD. So I made a wall hanging by vectorizing Earnest Haeckel’s drawings, then laser cutting them.

  • Hercules Beetle

    Hercules Beetle

This is a wooden puzzle sculpture that I made in CAD and then laser cut.

  • Kapton Graphene

    Kapton Graphene

When Kapton (the funny little plastic tape) is laser cut it breaks down into a graphene foam. While the uses are varied, it is a conductor and can be used for resistive heating, or laser engraved PCB design, as only the laser engraved portions become a conductor. This was a little experiment I did to…

  • Rings

    Rings

It took quite a few iterations to figure out ring making. These were done on a manual lathe. The first is made of brass, and barely fit, and was quite uncomfortable. The second one was steel, that ended predictably, after a few days I took the ring off my finger to be met with rust.…

  • Cabin Render

    Cabin Render

This is a quick render I did for fun and to learn how to import stuff into unreal engine. It was modeled and made in blender. This is one of my earlier renders.
